About
History
Community members seeking to study Japanese culture, Ikenobo Ikebana, and the flower way formed our study group in May, 1991, under the guidance of Professor Emeritus Kimiko Gunji. After six years of diligent study, we fulfilled the requirements to become a chapter. We were most honored to have Headmaster Sen’ei Ikenobo attend both our initiation ceremony in May 1997 and our 6th anniversary in 2003.
For our 20th Anniversary Celebration, Headmaster Designate Senko Ikenobo joined us, gave a demonstration, and exhibited alongside Professor Manabu Noda and our members.
